Description
Kiss ‘em because these used whiskey barrels are Irish! In fact, they’re Bushmills Irish single malt whiskey barrels (ex-bourbon) that have finished Stranahan’s Single Malt Whiskey for more than three years.
The end result is Stranahan’s Bushmills Irish Cask Whiskey, which features tasting notes of classic Irish whiskey cereal sweetness blended with butterscotch and oiled leather on the nose, transitioning to buttery, grain and toffee flavors from first taste to finish.
1 Bourbon + 2 Whiskeys = A Unique, 11-Year-Old Barrel
As for the barrels, they’re just as unique as the whiskey they last aged! Bushmills started out by using bourbon barrels that had aged bourbon from distilleries including Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey and Maker’s Mark for 4+ years. Then Bushmills aged its own whiskey in these casks for another 4+ years. Add in the final step of 3+ years spent finishing Stranahan’s and these barrels have about 11 years of aging different whiskeys!
Now, these rare finds are ready to barrel-age your beer, wine, cider or any other beverage you fill them with.
