Beverages aged in Knob Creek Rye Whiskey barrels benefit not only from Knob Creek’s signature sweetness, but also a traditional rye spice. The bold rye spiciness that these barrels will impart on any beer, wine, cider or other beverage you age in them comes from the high-quality rye grains that create this hardest-working rye whiskey. Bourbon lovers will also appreciate this whiskey’s high corn mashbill.
These barrels come to us straight from the distillery after being freshly dumped and used only once. Tasting notes include an aroma of herb notes, rye and oak, along with flavors of rye spiciness, vanilla and oak.
