The result is Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon, a spirit with vanilla, dark caramel, apple, fruit and spicy flavors – and an unmistakable oak note on the nose.
As a second barrel for a popular Kentucky bourbon, these are excellent candidates for aging any hearty beer, cider, wine or other barrel-aged project you’ve got in the works.
