W.L. Weller, a Buffalo Trace Distillery brand, is a wheated bourbon. That means the mashbill includes wheat rather than rye. This substitution makes for a softer, sweeter flavor profile that’s apparent in the aromas wafting from these fresh-dumped, once-used barrels.
The barrels arrive at our warehouse straight from the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky. They are ready to be filled with beer, cider, wine or other spirits. You can expect a smooth yet complex flavor to be imparted on your barrel-aged beverages.
