Description
Old Elk Wheated Bourbon Light Char Barrels are freshly emptied and once used, but have a different flavor profile compared to heavy char barrels.
There’s still plenty of bourbon flavors to pull from the oak staves, but the lighter char depth adds complexity and depth, while also not taking away as much of the sweet flavors already found in the beer, cider, mead or wine that’s aging in the barrel.
