Description
Coming to us straight from Heaven Hill Distillery, these Evan Williams Bourbon barrels were freshly dumped and used once to age bourbon for 5 years.
Evan Williams is a smooth, easy to drink bourbon named after the man who opened Kentucky’s first commercial distillery in 1783. It’s now the second-largest selling Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey in the U.S. and the world.
Tasting notes of the bourbon once locked tight in these barrels include light aromas with vanilla and mint, and flavors of oak, brown sugar and caramel.
Important notes: These barrels are 51 gallons in volume (standard bourbon barrels are 53 gallons). They still fit regular barrel racks, but are just an inch narrower and an inch taller than standard barrels. We recommend buying in pairs if stacking on racks.
