Description
For those who like a little spice in their brews, these freshly emptied 1792 High Rye Bourbon Barrels will do the job! The used oak barrels have spent 6+ years aging a bourbon known for its peppery rye flavor that’s balanced out with vanilla, caramel and butterscotch notes.
Barton 1792 Distillery does not disclose this bourbon’s mash bill, but does note that this bourbon uses a much higher percentage of rye as its secondary grain than many other bourbons. They are an excellent option for any barrel program manager who appreciates the flavors that rye can impart on a barrel-aged beer, wine, cider.
