Description
Russell’s Reserve Bourbon was crafted and aged for 10 years in these barrels under the watch of Jimmy and Eddie Russell, two legends in the industry.
The American oak barrels are deeply charred at the No. 4 “alligator char” level and still carry flavors of spicy vanilla and intense oak left over from the Russell’s Reserve Bourbon they previously held. They were freshly emptied at the Wild Turkey Distillery and used only once.
With an age statement of 10 years, and the flavors of a classic bourbon, these are a great pick for brewers, winemakers and anyone looking to age with used bourbon barrels.
