From Spain to the Midwest! These barrels have been on one heck of a trip. Last used to age Oloroso Sherry, a type of fortified wine produced near the city of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia Spain. Many distillers have used similar casks to age whiskey – and brewers can unlock unique flavors, too, when barrel-aging beer.
